OMG :eek::eek::eek:

Lets hope someone sees sense and these dogs are either banned or licensed in some way..... I know they no doubt have their place in the world but Northern Ireland is too small a place for a beast like this... You just know some irresponsible tw.at will get one and someone, or another dog, will get seriously injured or killed....

I know there are quite vicious dogs already out there but none even close to this size... How could any normal person control a dog weighing 80Kg if it decided to go for someone/thing !!!!!

    As you allude to, I think some thought needs to be put to the owners ability to control the dog. There is zero chance that any owner could control this animal, were it to set its mind on something. Whether a small woman or a body builder, this dog will be stronger. It might be that it is generally safe but so is a gun if you don't pull the trigger. Unfortunately, this is a gun which could go off without touching the trigger.

    I don't know how the legal system works with respect to animal attacks but I feel that, when it comes to large or aggressive animals, the owner should be considered to have accepted some additional liability simply by their ownership.
    Always overestimating...

    Yikes. The link in the OP describes it as 'A huge, ferocious, naturally aggressive guard dog.'

    Great stuff. I look forward to meeting one.

    Or as no doubt the owners will say.....

    "He's a gentle giant and wouldn't harm a fly"...... until he rips another dog's or child's head off !!
