Sorry not had time to keep up with the thread or any beauty news this month; I was 'forced' to spend a voucher that was due to expire today and therefore have put an end to a dry spell of not having bought any toiletries for nearly two months

    I got Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner 250ml

At least I got to use the voucher before it expired and didn't spend any actual money. :D

Does anyone here use Purple / Silver Toning Shampoo? Any recommendations? I was tempted to get L'Oreal Serie Expert Silver or Tigi Blonde Toning but thought better of it until I get a chance to check out the some reviews.

Hi ladies. Checking in to confirm I am still alive. Have now been on my cruise and have got real post holiday blues. Emma has got her GCSE results which were fabulous and has now enrolled at college. Feel now that I should be getting back into taking care of my skin again - have been lazy at applying body lotion (before holiday) and washing make up off (whilst on holiday).

Did have quite a few UUs whilst away - took a lot of travel items.

Have quite a few INs as well though. Went into Sephora in Vigo, Spain (actually had to walk past two branches in Rome as we were on a tour and could not stop) and bought a bottle of Make Up Forever primer (last bought this is in the US some years ago and remember it being fabulous). Bought Emma their concealer. Also bought Emma a YSL lip stain and myself a bottle of OPI My Private Jet (which I'm wearing today).

The OPI TSV Auto Delivery was waiting for me on my arrival home too so I now have three of the new Nordic colours too.

Then onboard the cruise ship there was a sale on the last day and we got a cube of 9 x Revlon lipsticks (worked out at £3.00 each) and 3 x Revlon chubby sticks. MrM then treated me and Emma to some mascaras from onboard dutyfree : a YSL Babydoll duo, YSL Shocking duo and Lancome Hypnose duo (though these two mascaras were different - I don't know much about Lancome so couldn't tell you their names).

Of all the places we visited I loved Florence and Pisa, Jerez (Cadiz), Ajaccio and Rome. Still enjoyed the other places: Gibralter, Toulon, Lisbon and Vigo but we had visited most of them before.

I will try and join in more next month. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Another UU - Champneys Spa indulgence mini - Distant Shores Body Butter 50ml WPNBA but would be happy to use if gifted. I found it had a rather odd consistency. Although that could be due to having been hanging around for a couple of years!

I have the shower mousse and the "scrub" on their last legs too. Using up some minis to break the monotony of the full size stuff :o

I've just realised you lot must be the same lot I see when I'm scrambling the shelves for bargains when Boots have their 70% post-Christmas sale lol.

I'm about 3 squirts away from using up my Mandara Spa Amber Heaven softening body cream :)

I've noticed I'm using up the stuff I like first which is going to leave me a mountain of products that I don't really like. I'm going to have to alternate them.

Us?, no never! must be another lot of females:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:, and we are not the ones with trolleys stacked high to go off and sell them on *bay, nothing wrong with commerce but I hate it when people are greedy and clear the shelves:(

I have to alternate using products too, it is not so much of a struggle to use p the less loved then.
