Time for a very tentative happy dance!!

Hey

I've been a looong time lurked on these forums but only post occasionally. But I promised myself that I would post today (payday) to say...

I'm finally debt free!!!!!! Woohoo!!!!

It's taken about 3 years, and in that time I've cleared approx £14,000.

(the tentative happy dance is because my MOT is due this month (gulp), so if a major repair bill comes through my DFD will have to be next month. So fingers crossed I have a nice healthy car!!)

I just want to say that I never would have got this far if it hadn't been for you lot, so thanks!

For everyone still on their debt free journey, please don't give up! I was the worst DFW ever. I fell off the wagon more times than I care to mention. The important thing to remember is that if you do have a massive blowout on wine/takeaway/clothes, then don't beat yourself up too much. Just get up the next morning and start again.

Keep at it folks! You'll get there. Trust me, if I can do it then you can!

Thanks again !

    Very big congratulations

Since your MOT is due this month, that gives you a whole year to plan for next MOT....perhaps you might like to think about a small savings fund going forwards?
