Help with catalogues?

Hello, first time here. I am 24 years old and just become unemployed. I currently have 3 catalogues on credit and its the only credit I have:

Marshall Ward: Currently owe 250, requesting payment of 44 by 25/07
Additions: Currently owe 203, requesting payment of 35 by 30/07
LX Direct: Currently owe 124, payment of 10 by 16/07(will pay that but not till Wed)

Marshall Ward and Additions are the big problems as I cannot afford to pay that by those dates.
I got a letter from NDR regarding the 44 owed to Marshall Ward.

Would I be able to ring each of those catalogues to try and arrange a payment plan? At the moment I can honestly only afford to pay each catalogue 10-a-month, maybe a few quid more.

    Hi SM - go to:
and look at the template letters. There is one, which you can send to your creditors, asking for them to suspend action, whilst you seek advice.
Then talk to either CAB, CCCS or National Debtline for some one on one advice.
I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.
