Norwich & Peterborough Mortgage - New Job - Restrictions

I was wondering if anyone is aware of specific restrictions with Norwich & Peterborough, in particular any requirement to be in a job a particular length of time or not be in probation.

I have seen a cheaper rate with N&P online to the one our mortgage broker is offering but my partner started a new job 1 month ago (on a higher salary) and is still in probation so I'm wondering if this would be an issue.

Many thanks for any advice you may have

Comments

  • Thanks, I got the response from N&P directly.

    They said:
    New job is fine.

Being on probation is fine but it must be a permanent position.

However, if you have less than 3 months of payslips, they may contact employer for a reference.
