Post Office deals?

Does anyone know why the Post Office have dramatically cut the number of fixed rate deals available? Just looked and there are hardly any fixed rate deals.

Probably because of the influx of applications they have had. Potentially met a quota, or due to the month backlog they have.

Ok thanks. I wonder why they are so busy at the moment? Is this all lenders that are busy or just the Post Office?
