Naming Day Invitations

Hi all. I have booked my daughters naming day for August and am wanting to send out the invites now. Have looked in all our local card shops and cannot find any invitations specifically for Naming Days. Any ideas where I can look now?? If you have had a cermony where did you get your invites from?? Have done a google search but all sites I looked at seem to be quite expensive, I was hoping not to have to spend too much. Looking forward to hearing from you. Many thanks in advance.

Why don't you make your own cards? I now make all my own using my own photos.
You could buy bulk blank cards and envelopes from somewhere like The Works and then put a photo of your baby on the front.
You can then write inside. Here's a site which gives examples of what to write.

Hi
I found some naming day cards at a big Clinton cards shop - but that was in London. Might be worth a try? Any big Clintons nearby?

I had tried their Colchester store but no luck. I have just emailed them via their website to see if they can tell me the closest shop to me that sells them. Thanks for the advice!

I too had the same trouble and hunted high and low to no avail,A friend offered to make them for me and they were lovely.
Any crafty friends or family ?0 -
I made mine too. I'm not very crafty, so just had a plain blue card with a small photo of baby backed by nice paper stuck into the corner, a stick on heart and then a stick on "Invitation" at the bottom. I then printed the invite details onto white paper and stuck the insert inside the card with a little explanation of what a Naming Ceremony is. Very simple but looked lovely and only cost about £5.00 for 20 or so invites. (keep one for the baby book!)0
