Miss sold endowment

Options
Hi I was going to claim for this about 2 years ago but was told by the company that they were changing the way it was being invested, and it should make what was originally planned, however it hasn`t and will pay out in September at the reduced rate, can anyone tell me if I am still able to claim ?

Who is the endowment with? Do you have this any of these assurances in writing (from the insurance company concerned)?

Just because it had a shortfall doesn't make it a mis sale, why do you think it was missold?

It was mis-sold because I had a repayment morgage.
and was sold the endowment seperately, the company had already accepted that they miss-sold it. But I just want to make sure I can still claim

Pearl assurance do have a mortgage endowment promise which they remove if you complain.
the company had already accepted that they miss-sold it.

And what was the solution presented after they upheld your complaint?
But I just want to make sure I can still claim

If you have already complained and they have given you an outcome that you accepted then you cant complain again.

Not thirty years ago they didn`t :rotfl:

They could pay me out with a sum to make up for being mis-sold or as I said before stay with them and they were changing the way they invested it

I`m sorry but you`re wrong there as I`ve been in touch but many thanks anyway

I'm not wrong. You can complain about the same thing twice but they can refer you to the earlier decision. They can refuse to look at your duplicate complaint.
