Electoral Roll and Mortgage Application

Hi,

First post here! Hopefully someone can help me.

My partner is in the process of selling her flat and then she will be moving in with me. Our plan is then to sell off my flat and purchase a property with a mortgage together as soon as possible. My query related to the electoral roll and how long we should wait before making an application as correct me if I'm wrong, but we'd need to get my partner on the electoral roll at my address when she has moved in before we can proceed right? Should we wait a few days after it appears on all three credit reports? Or a few weeks? I'm guessing there is no way around this wait?! Also does it matter that I have missing electoral roll history from Jan-June this year as I didn't send out the annual registration form last year although from July this year, this now appears ok.

Lastly because my name is different on some credit applications I have (some have middle name, another has just the middle inital, others just have the first name and surname) is it best that when I make an application I match this up with what is on the electoral roll? I have just asked my local electoral service to update my name so it appears as full.
