It's a difficult one as you really need to get a white absorbent pad behind the stained fabric to collect the offending stain.
Have you tried upholstery cleaner or baby wipes? My answer to every stain! Hairspray removes ball pen stains on mattresses (used to work in a furniture shop, oops!) might work... Just try a little bit at a time, working in towards the darkest part of the stain. Good luckThe beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.

Honestly...I don't think so. I speak from experience of fresh coffee stains on duvets, the washing machine didn't shift them so manual methods on a mattress...? As Eenymeeny says, good luckValue-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

We discovered that the product "Simple Solution", designed for puppy wee accidents, was actually very good at getting coffee stains out of a light colour rug we had. It was the only stain removing product in the house so gave it a try and it worked brilliantly!0

I've just remembered that I successfully removed an old coffee stain (a big one!) from the front of a white tee shirt by soaking it overnight in a stardrops solution. No one was more surprised than me! I've also heard of using shaving foam (concentrated soap?) to remove stains from carpets etc but haven't tried it.

Unfortunately successful stain-removal requires instant action before it's had a chance to set. Attempting to remove a dried-in coffee stain long after the event is unlikely to work satisfactorily.
I understand from your previous posts that the mattress belongs to your landlord, so you should either replace it yourself before you leave or compensate him/her for the cost of replacement.
This is going to be an expensive lesson in why you should not ignore things and leave them until later to be dealt with. Especially when the property is not yours.0 -
Looks like they've brought out a ton more versions since I last used it! It was just a bottled version from the petshop that I used0 -

Well what can I say, two large coffee stains on a mattress that have been there for six months. I concentrated on stain one on Monday and poured "Simple Solutions Extreme" on it, and then rubbed it with a wet cloth. I did this again the second day only this time I poured some boiling water from a kettle onto the stain along with the "Simple Solutions Extreme" solution and left it to dry. At the time it looked awful, however on checking it yesterday evening the stain was virtually gone.0
