I cant see Tesco rolling this out nationwide, but then again Tesco do some strange offers.
If I was the promotions manager for Tesco I would stop these stupid offers and come out with one that would total wipe asdas !!!!.
Any product that is cheaper in Asda, Morrison's or Sainsbury's we will match it. So if a product was cheaper in another store we would just match it and remove the £10 limit. Very simple. VERY effective!0 -
Thanks to Claire1972 tonight for suggesting a spur of the moment trip out to Sada - neither of us really needed hand washes but we couldn't resist! Thanks also for the lovely flowery bag - I will have that filled in no time with glitchy stuff! I've cleared a full drawer out in my freezer if you need it for tomorrow's meat shop x
A house divided against itself cannot stand - I love this proverb, and thanks to my lovely family for making me realise that we can get through most things together0 -
Ooo.. A's 6 pint and 4 pint milk now also vs Waities (not Northern Ireland). Same price now in W. But not the 1% 4 pint version.
Wonder what else - if anything - vs W at the moment.0 -

you can reuse apgs in tesco too - they have no clue.
bought a 300 laptop for the kid at a direct desk
some call for supervisor but supervisors say 'treat as price promise' and they just scan the same as asda till
if they ask about the receipt say thats for asda only and tescos terms dont ask for it
also return stuff and you can get giftcards which can be used for fuel
return it all two weeks later and use the 2ps off fuel
i got 20p off fuel and filled up two cars at £1.08.9...free with giftcard haha
Some pretty dodgy practices being encouraged there
it will have no chance of being rolled out if the pish taking has started already.."He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

fairclaire wrote: »I was answering mhocs question regarding selling a vehicle. From 1st of October you will no longer be able to transfer the road tax with a vehicle that you sell, regardless of what system it's on.
No paper tax discs will be issued after that date either. Obviously if you still have a disc on your own car that you've already paid for that's still in force after that date then it remains valid until the expiry date, after which you will have to renew under the new system.
Presumably (I haven't looked this up and I would be the one to do so, but perhaps save me the time doing so), if you already have a paper vehicle excise licence (AKA 'tax disc') that expires after 30 September 2014, you can remove it from display on 1 October or afterwards. Or do you still have to keep it there until it's expiry date, despite the removal of the requirement to display?0 -
Did you see me
I did. I take it you didn't see me? I was the fat little munchkin/muppet (or whatever they were called) chasing after you.
Hope you had a good day. The weather was on and off. It's a shame the sun wasn't out in full force. I love York when the sun is out.
Hope you are keeping well. :A0 -

Paid £4 for glade. Order didn't go exactly to plan, they subbed 1 x oil so the 3 for £10 offer did not show up. I flagged this up and after 20 minutes deliberation they said the best they could do was refund the sub, erm no thanks! :rotfl: so after I said that I would like to cancel the whole order and would also like the e vouchers that I had used to go back on my account they decided the best they could do was refund the difference of the 3 for £10 onto a gift card. That works for me :T
Also did a radox shop, my a's had them displayed as 2 for £2, be careful though as there were some similar hand washes above them that were £1. On receipt hand wash shows as £1.90 each and offer is taken off at bottom.
Hope everyone's having a good evening :beer:0 -
Just transferring my old number to my hew phone and found I had a few quid left on my old SIM which was going to be lost.
I texted it to a charity (Macmillan Cancer support) by texting MOBI99 £(how much you want to give) to 70070. Could I suggest if anyone ends up in a similar position they think of doing the same. Better than letting the phone company claw it back as unearned profit. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0
