I'm loathe to spend money too. :o

I'm not sure what I am doing sharpening the blades on this thing, I was given it (for which I am very grateful) but never had my own mower of any kind before. :o I'll have a little search to see how to sharpen it.
    Thanks x
Hi MM hows it going. How about looking/asking on Freecycle? That's where I got mine, it's only a small one but fine for my garden.

Now body shop stuff. shampoo and biscuits now your talking ! :T

Yes please to the body shop stuff. I've been wearing perfume to work every day since I started (Clinique, Ralph Lauren, Lancôme etc) and I've never had a single comment on them. All last week I wore the body shops Madagascan vanilla and I had 3 people (blokes:D) comment about it. Typical ain't it :rotfl:

8 weeks  my goodness that has come around quickly! I'm sure you will be all set by the time he or she arrives ;)
Cars :( the cause of a lot of purse ache around here lately!

I should have a bit longer than 8 weeks but got to have a planned c section, so it's going to be born on the 8th October.

Yes, I've seen that others have been having some rather expensive car trouble the last couple of weeks. I wish we could do without the bloomin things!

Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x

EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!
