    Morning everyone :)

Blowy here yesterday with fantastic waves at high tide, but otherwise sunny and warm - I think we missed the worst of the bad weather. But waking up to rain this am .....

Successful f & v moc shopping at Ms at the weekend. No probs doing several shops, staff helping customers work out best £5 combinations :) :T On one of my shops the prepared pineapple unexpectedly double discounted so SA scooted off to pick up a few bananas so that it could go through ok :T. Also no problem accepting moc against other grocery (my home store actively promoted this but wasn't sure how widespread it was).

Hope everyone keeping warm and dry and not too affected by the storms.
  • Good morning all, lovely blue sky here at the moment, though that is due to change. Have a line of washing out. Asked OH to tidy up the pile along his side of the bedroom so he did - all the winter clothes left there went straight into the wash  Still, at least it looks tidier there now.

    Evening all,

After a big fruit & veg session at M's, I have decided to make some jam. Strawberry seems easiest, I have a jar or 2, but does anyone know any shops to get Wax Discs? Local Wilko only have Kilner packs at £4 with silly bits of fabric, and online wont be here quick enough.

    Thanks

I use the glass value peanut butter jars with the plastic screw lids, I also put a layer of baking parchment over the jar before I screw the lid on. Never had any go mouldy yet when I have used this method. Just slightly annoyed that they have started using plastic "jars" now :(

Very windy here yesterday. Late afternoon my large clematis was ripped away from the garage wall  luckily the blackbirds had finished with their nest.

Still windy this morning but very sunny. I'm off to Argos for 9am to collect my pillow cases, as if I don't have enough

Can anyone shed any light on the Head & Shoulders Total Care? Will do a test shop if confirmation can be given that I need to get JF Oil Elixir or is it another JF product I'm to look for?

Very blowy here too. I feel sorry for those taking part in the second day of the air show today  I'm still puzzling over why they have made it sun/mon instead of having over a weekend as usual? who knows?
