I recently used my card in M, and within 2 weeks, had a reward of 10% off spends in M upto a maximum of £10 in rewards....so I went and bought £100 of 3v and also got a petrol coupon...and £10 in my Lloyds account...don't know about Halifax...but would imagine they may work the same.
