But is "midnight" at the beginning of a day or the end? It's still "that day" if they make you wait 24 hours (nearly - 23 hours, 59 minutes and 60 seconds:rotfl:, or 61 seconds if there's a positive leap second maybe) even if it is at the very end of (what is now) today. I mean 59.9999999999999... rounded up:rotfl::rotfl: - 59.9999 infinity, which isn't actually 60.

I've not had that happen, although I did refuse some subs and instead of refunding me the value of the subs they refunded the portion of the order I paid by cash (only a few pounds difference but it made the shop free)

Maybe it differs by store as to how they deal with such things as this. Fab if you can get it!

One of them does have a refund, the other does not. The one with a refund is a large proportion of the total order cost, so maybes thats what happened with that one. Perhaps you could be right there

OH is accompanying me because I can't drive afterwards. I hand it to him......he never takes me anywhere but he has pulled his grotty socks up and is at least taking me where I need to be.
