CALMSPIRIT you have my deepest sympathy. My neighbours are absolute c u next tuesdays so I can kind of relate you in some ways. I've ended up on sleeping tablets to get myself to sleep. It's a family of 4 fully grown adults who slam every door under the sun continuously from 6am until 2am the next morning. Don't even get me started on the hoovering of bedrooms at 2am. Anyone would think their goal in life was to make our life hell!!!
The Police won't get involved. Having said that, one of the c u next tuesdys has been in and out of prison for much bigger crimes so I guess harrassing neighbours is not classed as a crime to the Police!
We can't sell the house as no one on this earth would want to live next door to them. And I fully understand what you mean about your home being your sanctuary. I come home from work hoping to relax and chill out, but I just get even more harrassment from the c u next tuesdays next door. Errr!
Have you tried keeping a log of the harrassment / issues? That's what the Council would ask you to do. Mind you, going down the legal process is quite scary because if the neighbours have friends in your area, they could make your life hell.
Hopefully you will be able to sort it out someway or another.
On a side note, does anyone know how I can go about popping my right ear? I've had flu and I can't hear a thing from it. I've tried chewing gum / sucking on sweets / closing my nose and breathing out but I'm practically deaf (the only good thing is I can only partly hear the t w a t s from next door hammering the doors!). HELP!

Another thought is they are in breach of tennancy if they make noise between certain hours or hoover use washing machine after 11pm.
There must be some formal body you could complain to, if landlady still refuses to kick them out could she be in breach of her mortgage (amazing amount of people rent out property without informing mortgage companies).
Might be worth phoning a random large letting agent for some advice or see if you can get a free consultation with a solicitor.
you have the right to a decent quality of life and to feel safe in your own home.

I do a bit, but when you look at the big picture, the work the Zoo will do overseas and also that fact that because people have seen the animal they will then donate money to protect that species I think it makes it worthwhile.
I do worry about zoos overseas, which are not run to the same standards as this country, so would not visit one.
Bless you Lawrie :A I have never forgotten how kind you were to me when I had a hard time:A

Calmspirit. If it is the cameras with a circle of 'LED's' around them, they dont actually light up, they are the IR light that enable them to see in the night. It is like the 'LED' on the remote of your TV. I have a camera, about £30 from amazon/ebay (?) that I have connected to the network in the house so I can check on Rebecca when I am on holiday. I was going to suggest it, but it was a swine to connect up, and not sure if you can record on it (I guess you can) as I just use it to view over the internet.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

I bought a plug in repellent in the 99p shop. Seems to work for me.
Also make a salt paste and rub on bites ASAP. Stops the itch and reduces size.
To avoid any more bites you can get a phone app that gives out a noise they dont like. A bit like those plug in things used 20 yèars ago.
Friend downloaded it to android and said he then had no more bites.
worth a try and free.
