Can anyone offer any wisdom as to why the following wouldn't compare?
The Nakd bars are 4 for the price of 3 in Tesco so I bought 4 in ASDA with my Sanex shop, but it came back N/A? Any ideas?

Different priced items in the 4 for 3 offer in T - APG will only compare where the same priced items are in a cross range 4 for 3 type offer if I recall correctly.

Thank you I haven't come as far as I'd have liked because I keep missing weeks with one thing and another. My instructor is an :A and he puts up with me
That said, we have struck up an odd but nice relationship he is semi-retired and goes away alot too. He didn't know my Dad, but we both know mutual people who did, so we have nice conversations whilst we are up there

Thanks, I also tried with some gluten free bread rolls on another shop and that also came back N/A. I will step away from the free from aisle now.

Yup, APG can cope with prices in a competitor being 3 for £2 or 2 for £5 or x for £y because every item can be assigned an equal cost (i.e. 67p, £2.50, y/x in the above examples). In this case it doesn't matter how much each individual item is in the competitor

If there is a 2 for 1 and absolutely everything is £3 each then it's easy for APG to say that the multibuy price is £1.50 each. Or if it's a 3 for 2 and everything is £3 then APG recognises £2 each as the multibuy price

But if the competitor has a mix of prices in a 2 for 1, 3 for 2, etc deal then the APG system goes kablooey!

I saw your earlier post and that you'd made a purchase, but I didn't like to say before your results came in so as not to knock your attempt The candles are RTC in store, therefore the APG system would only ever pick up the RTC price when buying in store.

However if buying online it would see the £8 price and would have compared favourably. It's usually this way with RTC items I'm afraid.

This is why most if not all of DDs finds are HD/CC only.
