Unfortunately your receipt didn't contain the minimum of 8 different items, of which at least
1 must be comparable, required to be eligible for comparison on the ASDA Price Guarantee.
Please try again after your next shop at ASDA.

Please note, for an item to count towards the 8 different item limit, it must be available on ASDA.com grocery homeshopping website on the date of purchase.

Afternoon all, just catching up after a long night of RL!

Saw this, I'd LOVE to have a good breadmaker and I know lots of the Old-Stylers rave about Panasonic. Could you tell me roughly how much it was? I'd like to be able to make a loaf when I need it and not have loads go to waste, but I've got to consider the cost of the machine to see whether or not it's worth it. I get that it wouldn't be cheaper than whoopsies or value loaves, but I'd also want to do it for the peace of mind of knowing exactly what's gone into my food.

Thanks, I think I'll have to stick to the good old fashioned DIY option then! Whoever thought making your own bread could be such a minefield!
The recipe booklets that come with breadmakers are a bit hit-and-miss, I've found. The end results are too sweet for my taste. (I think some of the booklets are written for U.S. consumers, and not altered for different countries.) But a book I can recommend is 'Fresh Bread and Bakes from your Bread Machine' by Mrs Simkins - that's the one I refer to.
