A don't just give you the difference. They go one better than matching the prices, they beat them by 10%

i.e.
Price in A £27.88
Price in M £27.57
Price in M less 10% = £27.57 - £2.76 = £24.81
Difference between £27.88 and £24.81 = £3.07

or you could say difference between A and M is 31p then add 10% of the price in M (£2.76) to get to the same answer

You get 10% of the £27.57 (£2.76) plus the 31p
