It was the same in Yate this evening, lovely friendly fishmonger tho says he's getting more salmon delivered tomorrow. I'm going to try fishponds one on Sunday as I'll be vaguely near it :D

I bought some plain bath salt the other day that said 'consult your physician before using [if you're pregnant]', crazy if you ask me, but I guess they're just covering their backs

Would have thought that it covered alot more of your back in the bath. :p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I had 2 spare ones [M&S] expiring today so I gave them to random strangers with full trolleys in Liverpool marks today :j
I 'bought' a hot drink and cake for a lady in the queue at JL today and explained about signing up as I had a spare ticket from my OH.:)

It's brilliant when you can do this. I got a HH coupon the day before I went on holiday and it expired before I got back so just gave it to the woman behind me in the queue. She was really chuffed!

One time M&S did that discount coupon for family and friends which you could scan loads of times, I was buying a coat with one a friend had given me. The queues were so bad they were giving out chocs to keep people happy. I got chatting to the person next to me in the queue and realised she didn't have a coupon so suggested we went to the till together and shared mine. Someone overheard and gave her a spare coupon and this started a trend, with everyone in the queue checking that everyone else had one! M&S must have lost a fortune in that ten minutes but a lot of people were very happy.

There is some BBQ stuff in M, might want to have a look at that if you're in there - not covered by my price collections as non-grocery. I think one of the BBQ sets was reduced on Wednesday - but not sure of by how much.

Speaking of people posting about things being "cheap", I got stuck behind a bus on my way to A today. Reminded me of how expensive bus travel now is.

"Cheap travel to and from X for...".

:eek:The return ticket was nearly £3.

I remember when the return tickets were a pound. And you could travel all the way across the city conurbation on that and not a couple of miles up and down the road. That was many many years ago - so maybe it reminds me of my age:o as well as the expense of today's bus travel.

Season tickets would undoubtedly be the most MSE way (if having to stick to buses) but, even there, I feel for those having to make do with expensive bus fares.

Sadly they seem to like a lot of bread that's cheaper than elsewhere, on full mbuy pricing, whilst not being whoopsied. Either they work for a bakery or catering organisation and are trying to pass it off as their own, or they have a very very very large family:rotfl: or they really are using it for themselves and are going to freeze almost all of it - in which case why buy it on full price instead of getting it as whoopsies, still within best before date, that can then be frozen anyway?

As for the Crab Paste from the second shop, this - ASDA Crab Paste (75g) comparing 48p vs 48p, should be - in fact it's on 3 for £1 so it's best bought on that, or even this would be cheaper than what they bought:

Shippams Crab Spread (75g) 50p In twos vs T or M (2 for £1.00). It's a mix and match so could go for Shippams Chicken, Beef or Salmon (total even number) vs T, or in theory, any of the four (even number total again) vs Morries if they get picked up on the APG. Morries does have all four on 2 for £1.00 instore. Although - the A Crab Paste, but not the way they bought it, is cheaper.

An inevitable failure, with Nectarine and Honeydew Melon cheaper in A (theoretically anyway, as still more expensive on that 'cheaper' price than when they were more expensive in A but with a glitch;)), and the Green Grapes are now picking up an M price:

    1 x ASDA Green Seedless Grapes (500g)£1.50£2.50:(:rotfl:

So they've obviously picked them up once again on Wednesday's collection. At least we now know that that is in the system, FWIW as didn't change at all from Monday. You know I would have noticed any tiny, minor change!:D:rotfl:

I've no idea if mix and match or in twos grapes (vs M) works again (M 2 for £3) but I wouldn't advise buying them. I wouldn't buy these blasted things in any event!:rotfl::rotfl: Even though it looks like they're comparing 500g grapes in A to M's 400g ones. Now, that could be a glitch:D:D - but is it worth it?!?;)

    2 x Shippam's Crab Spread (75g) £1.00 £1.00

Extract from my shop this morning.
