What You Need To Know:
We love running promotions for you guys and we want to be as clear as possible on how you enter and the prize is drawn. Please read the nuts and bolts below and if you’ve still got any questions just contact commerical@asos.com.
1. We know that there are ASOS lovers all around the world, but this promotion is only open to UK residents who are aged 18 or over. So that we are completely fair, anyone professionally connected to ASOS is not allowed to enter.
2. You don’t have to buy anything to take part in this promotion but you do need internet access.
3. Promotion Period: You can enter this promotion between 00.01 on 28th July 2014 until 23.59 on 7th September 2014. Within this, there will be 42 daily closing dates each ending at 23.59 - so keep your eye on that watch!
4. To Enter: Entering this promotion is simple; visit https://www.asos.com/TreasureHunk and watch the video to work out the answer to the question, to find the Diet Coke Hunk. Then type ‘Treasure hunk into the search bar followed by your guess, as to what you think the answer is. We’ll show you a product page on which you need to search for Diet Coke Hunk and if you find him, click on him. If you’ve not guessed the clue correctly then a Diet Coke Hunk won’t appear on the product page Entrants should then enter their details to be entered into the draw. You’ll also be offered the chance to share on the image of Diet Coke Hunk on your personal social media accounts but sharing in this way does not constitute an entry to the promotion.
5. You may only enter once per day.
6. You can only win each prize once but you may not win more than one prize on the same day.
7. Daily Prize Winner Selection: So that you know we’ve selected our winners fairly from all the valid entries we receive by the relevant closing dates, the daily draws will be carried out by an independent promotional verification service and will take place within 7 working days of the relevant closing date.
8. Grand Prize Winner Selection: So that you know we’ve selected our winner fairly from all the valid entries we receive by the end of the Promotion Period, the random draw will be carried out by an independent promotional verification service and will take place within 4 working days of the Promotion Period.
9. Contacting the Winner: We’ll contact the winners via email within 7 days of the end of the relevant draw. If you are one of our lucky winners, you must respond to us within 7 days to confirm you accept, otherwise the prize will be awarded to a reserve winner.
10. The Prizes:
a. Daily Prizes 1: Every day 50 winners (2100 in total) will each win 1 x 10% ASOS discount code to use on https://www.asos.com by 28th July 2015, which will be delivered via email. See clause 12 for further details;
b. Daily Prizes 2: Every day 1 winner (42 in total) will win 1 x personalised 200ml glass Diet Coke Contour Bottle with their name or nickname set in gem sparkles, 1 x personalised t-shirt with their name and 1 x sterling silver ring pull set with crystals, which will be attached to a 16” sterling silver chain. Bottles and t-shirts have a maximum of 8 characters each and will be subject to moderation; and
c. Grand Prize: 1 winner at the end of the Promotion Period will win 1 x personlised 200ml glass Diet Coke Contour Bottle with their name or nickname set in gem sparkles, 1 x personalised t-shirt with their name, 1 x 9 carat rose gold ring pull pendant with a silver chain set with a minimum of 0.3 and a maximum of 0.5 carat diamonds and 4 cases of 24 x 330ml Diet Coke cans...
11. T-shirt’s will come in the following sizes:
a. Women’s – small, medium or large; and
b. Men’s – small, medium, large, extra-large or extra extra-large.
All t-shirt sizes are subject to availability and only come in grey; winners cannot request a different colour.
12. Discount codes should be entered at the checkout in order for you to receive 10% off full price items. Codes must be redeemed by 23.59 BST on 28th July 2014. Brand and beauty products exclusions apply. One order per customer up to £500 (pre-discount). Codes are not valid with other promo codes, on gift vouchers, optional delivery charges, ASOS Marketplace or ASOS Premier subscription.
13. We can’t accept any requests for personalised bottles or t-shirts which we think:
a. are considered offensive by us or could reflect negatively on the name, reputation, or goodwill of ASOS or any brand partner;
b. include trademarks, logos, or copyrighted material not owned by you or used without the right holder's prior written permission (including famous names, company names, etc.);
c. defames, misrepresents, or insults other people or companies, including, but not limited to ASOS; or
d. promotes any political agenda.
14. If you are the winner, we’ll try and send you the prize as soon as we can - and within no more than 28 days from when you provide us with your address and the standard delivery is on us!
15. We’re sorry but you can’t transfer a prize to someone else or exchange it for something else or a cash alternative.
16. If, for reasons we can’t control, the prize is no longer available, we’ll offer you an alternative prize which we hope you’ll still love but which will definitely be of equal or greater value!
The Legals and Other Bits
No one likes the small print, but we need to let you know about some other important stuff too and make you feel comfortable that we run our promotions properly, fairly (and legally!):
17. Data Privacy: We care a lot about the security of your personal data and it will be held in accordance with our Privacy Policy and only used to carry out this promotion.
18. We believe in fair play. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups, syndicates or third parties will not be accepted and we will not accept cheating in any form including the use of macros or other automated means of entry, masking your identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than your own and any other behavior that falls outside the spirit of the promotion. If you’re found to be cheating you will be excluded.
19. Unfortunately, if you suffer any loss or damage that arises out of or in connection with the prize draw or prize itself (whether in contract, tort (including (without limitation) negligence), statutory duty or otherwise) ASOS won’t be liable for this.
20. If someone or something tampers with this promotion in some way whether by fraud, technical failures, system errors or other issues, including any such failure which is within the control of ASOS or its agencies, ASOS and its agencies will not be responsible if the Promotion or the prize event not being capable of running as planned or for the non-inclusion of entries. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.
21. In the event of any dispute our decision is final.
22. By entering you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
23. If you want to know who won, you can email commercial@asos.com within two months of the end of the Promotion Period quoting “ASOS Diet Coke Prize Draw” in the subject title.
24. These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

& we can't delete a lead thread/post anyway,
only a BG can delete/merge them,

if you want/wish to send the thread in a pm to a BG they will merge
your thread with the original

How do I send a merge request to a Board Guide?
On any page of the Forum, towards the bottom right of the page under the list of comp threads, it says who the Board Guides (BGs) are for this forum. Below is the current list:

If you click a BG name, it will take you to their profile page, over on the right is the 'Contact Info' & you should see a link to 'Send a private message to xxxx'

If you click that, a Private Message (PM) box will display & then all you need to do is put a title (eg Merge Request Please), then tell the BG what the Original Thread URL & the Dupe Thread URL is. (Highlight the URL of a thread in the bar at the top of the browser screen & right click > copy. Then click your mouse back into the PM box & right click > paste). You can ‘Preview Message’ to see how it will look, if you want, before you click to ‘Submit message’.
