Hi
I've had a look at some of the older threads on double glazing and I'm after some newer info please if anyone can help me.:)
I've been getting prices in the Belfast/North Down area for replacing an old front door with leaded lights with a new PVC door while possibly keeping the leaded lights and the quotes so far are all very different with up to £1500 difference between the prices from different companies.
Does anyone know any decent companies I could get to quote?
I've used Woburn Windows years ago and they were great but I've heard that they have closed down/gone out of business?
Another one was Crosbies windows in Castlereagh area - has anyone used these guys?
Thanks for any help- much appreciated!

If you can find someone who is good at DIY and capable of doing a decent job then you can either look at two options here :- One buy a door from a Company that makes them or you can have it measured and see if there is one off the shelf in the major stores.
Savings will varie quite a bit here and I know when I fitted windows and doors many years ago a front door with all the extras was approx. £1000.00 to £1500.00 but to buy the door and parts cost about £300 - £500.00 and it was approx. 2-3 hours max at around £100.00 per hour still a saving against a Company.0 -
I used this company to replace a few windows recently and was very pleased with his work. Did not get any other quotes as I was happy enough with the cost.
