I am astounded as these bits of white sponge! I had never used one until today. My neighbour has been raving about them for cleaning the white UPC doors, window frames etc and I must admit I was a bit sceptical.
However, she gave me one to try and I have spent an hour or so wiping down my door and downstairs window frames. I think I am a convert. I also managed to deal with two or three black scuff marks on the staircase wall.
I am intrigued as to how they work so well without the need for detergent.
What do other folk use them for?

Great for light switches, which I am scared to get wet so rarely clean them except with those sponges. You can get them in pound shops.June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500

Good for cleaning tar marks off car paintwork as well.0

We got one of the Flash ones recently as it was on offer for £1. They do work well, but I did notice that where I'd used it on a door that's painted in gloss, it left the area with a rough surface. Also, on a wall painted in matt emulsion, the sponge came away covered in paint.0

Will bear that in mind thanks.0 -
You do have to be careful with these but they are fab - every time we've moved out of a rental I've gone round with one of these to get rid of scuffs and marks, I reckon it's saved us a fortune. And it does get really addictive when you're cleaning UPVC windows0

they are great for shining up sinks and taps - take all the limescale off. They are also amazing on ceramic hobs. I often get the poundland or Wilkos own ones.0

Yes I love them too! they work on enamel cooker tops too! takes all the burnt bits off as if by 'magic'! I keep one by the washing up sponges so I can give the cooker a quick wipe down.0

I was so impressed with them I e-mailed Fla*h to tell them. I used two and did all the skirting boards, doors, window frames and scuffs on walls. Brill product.House renovation savings £25,000/£25,000
