The first winner was Rita who, when she was interviewed by Andy Peters, said she was a comper!
I think she must have had a bit of warning as she was dressed to the nines and the kitchen was spotless.
I'm going to have to watch the rest of the week now to see who the other winners are!

Cool, the wife said to me this morning "Oh, that comp you entered me for about a month ago is starting today, so we might have Keith Chegwin or someone turning up on our doorstep" :rotfl:Thanks to all who post constructively.

All the winners know who they are and that they may get a visit this week, they just don't know how much they have won.0 -

I know they had a phone call but the winners didn't know when or if (apparently) a film crew would turn up on their doorstep, i.e. a surprise knock at the door sometime during the week.
My point was just that as the winner was dressed in a posh frock and full make up at 7.30 in the morning and the house was spotless, I think she must have had the nod that they were definitely going to be there.0 -

Winners have a 50:50 chance of being on TV between 6:00 and 09:30, I didn't enter but if I had won I would certainly be ready for them in that timeslot Mon to Fri this week.0 -
I saw it this morning and the lady who answered the door was dressed and decidedly nonplussed by Andi Peters turning up on her doorstep and handing her a large cardboard cheque for £5K.
She kept the TV crew on the doorstep so I guess maybe she hadn't cleaned her kitchen!“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.” - Dr Seuss0 -
i fi had entered this and been picked i would have made sure i answered the door in just a pair of pants and a face mask.
Let's see how quick they could cut to commercials0 -
Or maybe they'd have just moved you to a post watershed slot, sax... :rotfl:0
