not ever won a thing!

I can't be very lucky as I've been doing competitions for 5 months and I've not won a thing. I love this site and It is so helpful, but I've not had any luck winning anything and feel a bit dispondant .

I have no idea how many comps you enter per week/day but in the end it all boils down to luck & numbers.

Just treat it as a hobby & see the winning a separate thing.

Other than that just scroll through here & you'll see many threads that state much the same as you have.

Sorry, I know i'm having a bit of a moan! I think if I got 1 win, it would spur me on! I'm doing about 50 a day.

No worries.
A lot will boil down to luck at that level of entries I think.

It is possible though.In evidence I only discovered MSE comps late in 2008.Before that I used Prizefinder & entered about twenty comps per day as I did not know that Roboform was available.After a few months of entering I won five nights in New York with a $1000 shopping voucher.

So it is possible but a lot less possible as your entry rate is a lot lower than most on here.

Do you enter mostly for high value things? You never know when a win could come, it could at any time so keep going

I do think it numbers. When I started I did loads a day and night!!! But ended up staying up to late, burning dinner and missing out on sunny days cus it was addictive to comp! I won a few things. Now I only enter between none and fifty a day I haven't won in a while. I think beginners luck is just eagerness and therefore numbers!!! It's hard balance because it did feel good to win!!! Now I just do the ones I want to win and enjoy window shopping!

Numbers on here are up in my view but how many stay the distance?

I think we'd need to see a few statistics for total entries in popular comps from a few years back to get a true picture.

I think that is very true. All the people I know personally who liked the idea of winning because they saw my wins, have stopped because it is far too much time and effort. I enter about 400 per day minimum, day in day out without fail. It is a lot of work but worth it.
