I often read about people wanting to have the right amount of debt/limit balance.

I was curious that if I have a credit card with a very large limit but I'm only using 15% is this a concern to lenders as I might max it out?

Will lenders take into account I wanted a BT card applied, got a limit I didn't need hence only using what I need and now paying it off interest free?

It varies, some lenders may see you have a lot available and be concerned.
Others will see that you have large balance and are well within and be happy.

As ever, there is no set rule other than if your using all of your allowance and running it to the hilt, unless cleared in full it probably will be a concern for most - if not all.
