Las Vegas Wedding - Ideas needed

Hi,

Getting married April 2015 in Las Vegas, just don't know which venue to choose. Booked the holiday via Expedia, 10 nights at MGM Grand 31st March - 10 April 2015. Direct flights Virgin Gatwick. We have visited LV twice before first staying at Bellagio and then Trump. Really wanted MGM Grand this time as loved the place and it has a lazy river.

We plan to get married whilst over there. We are thinking about The wedding wagon $129. I have had a look at some chapels and drive thro also Bellagio & MGM weddings as they are not bad price. It's second time around for us and we are not taking anyone else. My sis may come but won't decide until later so we just need a wedding venue no reception. Budget under $1000 for wedding as holiday already paid for.

Any thoughts/tips/ideas welcome.

Try reading Shauna Reid's blog - they got married in Las Vegas, and she blogged about it, with photos.

Five years ago my son & duaghter in law got married in the chapel at the Luxor. The venue was very nice, the staff helpful and a good variety of packages to suit most budgets.
Whatever you decide I hope you have a lovely day.

An ex-colleague got married at the Bellagio and then renewed her vows for their 10y anniversary at the Little Chapel.

She seemed very happy with both venues.

I walked past this chapel last time I was in Vegas. We walked from Trump hotel to The Vegas sign and walked right past this chapel. It looks so cute.

We didn't fancy a stand alone chapel as the downtown area is a bit down at heel so eventually decided on the chapel at the Tuscany.

We ended up getting married on April 2nd with Wedding Wagon overlooking Bellagio fountains. It was amazing and not tacky at all. For $129 it was a bargain, we got some lovely photo's too. I got my hair & makeup done at MGM Christophe salon cost £100 which i thought was reasonable. My dress & bouquet I purchased from ebay. Dress was amazing £50 and looked lovely.

I highgly reccomend Rev Peck & his wife (Wedding Wagon) especially if you want a simple wedding for cheap price. It was 2nd time around for both of us and we didn't take any family members so just worked out perfectly. If anyone wants any further info just message me and I can share photo's.
