Make sure to format for MSE, before Copy & Pasting.

Also, make sure to save the data, before closing the window, so you don't have to retype it all, when you want to update it.
  • Thank you i will try and fill this out ASAP.

In terms of the debt though, would the main consensus be to pay of the OD on the 0% card initially and then chip away at the payments potentially using overpayments if possible?

The sooner i can get rid of the debt the better

    Thanks

depends if there any over payment penalties or charges and what they are
The only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 5
  • On the one hand, an OD can be withdrawn at any point but, on the other hand, paying off the loan early will save you interest.
  • there are no overpayment charges.. unless i settle early which means i will have to may 2 months intrest.

I have created a new safe bank account now so the bank cannot just take the money out of my money for the OD, however i want to pay it off and close the account as i have found a better account else where
  • Anyone else ?

Speak to your bank and convert the overdraft into a loan. In the process cancelling the overdraft.
  • I'm confused as to how that would help? I can pay of the OD on the 0% card and pay it back over 29 months interest free where by a loan I would have to pay interest on over its duration ??.. Or pehaps I'm missing the point !
