Good afternoon from the home of the commonwealth Games 2014!!!
We were discharged from TD January this year, signed up July 14, so the TD should drop off our credit histories 2years from now.
Currently on NR SVR. Really need to think of moving house as we are outgrowing this one quickly !! By the time next summer comes we should have about 20% for deposit between equity & savings. Good wages between us. There's a good chance a house where we want to move to will be coming up for sale at this time.
Our current mortgage repayment is £930 month which is easy for us to pay, in fact we are currently overpaying £220 per month.
Any experience out there of people successfully obtaining mortgage 2 years after discharge from TD???
Thanks in advance

Will Scotland vote for independence? A Yes vote would create huge uncertainty. With regards to currency, interest rates and mortgage regulation.
Until the time arrives there's no way of knowing what lending conditions will be like. Focus on what you can control i.e. the debt owed. As the less you wish to borrow the greater the chances of acceptance. Consult a broker as well at the appropriate time as they'll direct towards more favourable lenders.0 -
