epson stylus sx515w - cyan won't print

Printer utility is telling me that the cyan level is fine. I've used the clean print heads several times. I've shaken the cartridge. I use only genuine epson ink cartridges. Still the cyan is not printing on my test page.

Please can anyone help? many thanks in advance

Have you run the nozzle check to check for blockages ?

Slightly damp paper towel on the print head .
Tiny drop of water on the channel that the ink runs to the print head are two to try .

Try this, I had to do it once on mine a long time ago & it's worked perfect ever since.....

  • Thanks very much bribrian, I'll try the advice on the avforums website.

Thanks JJ Egan, I tried the damp paper towel but it didn't work.

Thanks 50Twuncle, I did run a nozzle check and it did not show a pattern for cyan at all.
