Amazon Warehouse Deals query

By chance I stumbled across Amazons Warehouse Deals site and discovered an article I'd been planing to buy.
Amazon advertise the article as 'Used - Very Good' and state 'The item may come repackaged. All purchases eligible for Amazon customer service and a 30-day return policy.'
It's a pricy enough item at £400 but there is a savings of a little over £50.
Has anyone bought from Amazon Warehouse in the past and can they tell me what is meant by Amazons description
ps with most of the products offered by Amazon in their Warehouse Deals department they do NOT offer a warranty. Does that mean if you buy an article as described above that the manufacturers warranty is also void
As always thanks for your replies

I bought a sony laptop a few years ago paid £220.00 would of cost over £500 in the shops it came in mint condition.0

I bought our tv from the warehouse deals. Generally they are items that have been returned (I think), either by a customer, or due to non-deliver so cannot legally be resold as new if they look to have been opened in any way. I guess also they may be items where the original packaging has been damaged in the warehouse.
No complaints from me, I couldn't care less what box my tv came in as the packaging gets thrown away anyway. Would deff buy again.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Agree with the above, bought a printer from Warehouse Deals it came in a battered original box which had been been sent out to someone else but returned or never delivered.
30 day warranty unsure about manufacturers warranty sorry, but the item was brand new with all packing and unused accessories.0
