Mobile phone question

I've been with my provider for 3 years now-always paid on time etc.Are they likely to cancel my contract or will they let me keep it as I'm a good customer or do I just have to wait and see?I have got a pay as you go sim card just in case I wake up one day and my phone doesn't work, but obviously I'm hoping they won't do that. It's O2 in case that makes a difference.

O2 did not cancel my contract, TMD. I would say nothing to O2 - obviously you need to include the cost of your mobile in your I/E statement, but, if you are not in debt to O2, the OR is hardly likely to contact them.
How do you pay your bill? You may have a problem if you pay by d/d and your bank account is frozen.

Seconded. If you've not got any arrears with them, they seem to be OK about it. Likewise the utility companies and Sky TV/your ISP et al.

I pay by DD from Nationwide-not been frozen yet so fingers crossed :) OR said he had no interest in the account and would write and tell them so.

I still have my contract phone. I didn't owe them any money when I went BR, so I included in my expenses but didn't need to put them down as a credit. I just rang them & gave them my new bank details for the direct debit. I've had no problems with them at all, in fact your post has reminded me that I'm due for my free upgrade so I'd better sort that out quickly. :)
  • I phoned my mobile network and told them I was having problems with my bank, could I pay at a paypoint. They were happy enough with that, and thats how I pay my bill. Yep theres a little extra surcharge because you dont pay DD, but c'est la vie
