I am not sure if this is in the right place or not but feel it only fair to give my experience with this company.

I ordered the vitarid-r fitness machinge on the 9th of this month, after seeing it on "TV shop" it looked just the ticket for my disabled wife, when it arrived last Thurs 17th July, it was poorly made and basically junk, wobbled like no tomorrow and the pedal clasp looked like it would not last which would render the machine practically useless.

It was when it came to returning the item that the problems arose, I followed the instructions given and got a "return authorisation number" the address they give is not recognised by royal mail which was simply "NL0030, Greenford UB18 7NL, and the parcel was stuck in royal mail offices in London, I telephoned the company again to get the proper address, apologies were forthcoming and the address given was "Guthy Renker, Unit 9, Trident way, International Trading Est, NL0030, Greenford UB18 7NL,... yippee they took the parcel which was posted on the 18th, last Wednesday 23rd.

So today I telephoned them in regards to my refund and was told that the parcel now has to travel to holland which will take up to 14 days and then I have to wait a further 5 days for a refund. they never stated this anywhere and although I was chancing my arm in seeing about the refund I am dismayed that its going to take at least a month to even get a sniff of getting my money back.

So just forwarning people about what they can expect should they fall for the very good advert on TVshop, what was delivered here was extremely poor quality and although the customer service do say sorry, it is not enough when they imho deliberate deceive not only the postal address but the money back guarantee, I dont feel any confidence about getting a refund, there is a thread here regarding the postal address and pornographic videos being sent unsolicited hence why I thought I would post this here to vent some anger and make people aware should they read this what they can expect.

I have looked at the T&C and still cannot find anything about having to wait this long to get a refund, they have the crap back they had it Wednesday, but has to go to Holland? someones having a laugh aren't they?

Now the "ultrasport mini-bike 50" turned up today, we found it on amazon and ordered the day we returned the Vitard-r and it is a little gem :j and German made too :beer:, very easy to set up, no wobble as of yet (the vitarid-r they said needed to be bolted to the floor when phoning them up to organise return) and its definately non slip on laminate flooring, the only complaint I have is the "non slip matt" which was meant to be a penny but they charged P&P at the end and it was just under 3 quid, but all in all we are very very pleased with the minibike 50, considerably cheaper and the build quality is very very good, ideal for my wife, to help with mobility and build strength in the leg and arm muscles.


Is there any chance the whole thread can be moved the "praise, rants and warnings" board?, this site is huge and only recently realised that this is where this post should be as it is more of a moan than a money saver, then again if I have saved somebody from spending good money on what i consider junk then all's good.
