Help!! I have an apartment which i purchased in my sole name. My ex partner borrowed money from a loan shark but says he paid it all back with interest. The shark then decided to take a mortgage out on my property. I kept refusing and he kept threatening me and my family until I gave in and signed a mortgage for 30,000 euros in the sharks wife´s name. I know I should not have signed it but I have parkinsons disease and felt vulnerable. Anyway this was 5 years ago and i have not seen my ex in that time. My family raised the 30.000 euros which we paid into the court with all the costs they asked for and thought that was the end of it. This was in 2011 and they are refusing to take the money from the court as they say they want more money. MY lawyer says I must take everything out of my name so they can not take any more money. Surely they have no right to take more money from me. Their lawyer just lied from start to finish saying I was involved in all of this but this is not true. Lawyer says this could take years to sort but I dont have time on my side
