What would we be looking at roughly? I work part time and earn £17000, my husband earns £13000 and we have one dependant. Would the child benefit we get count as income?
We don't have any other debts, just the regular outgoings - phone bills, gas and elec, insurances, petrol (we run 2 cars) food etc.
Any thoughts on what sort of mortgage we may get with these new rules, never had any bad credit ever and have had a mortgage for 5 years along with car loans previously and credit cards, all paid timeously so I'm sure credit scoring won't be a problem.

How much do you want?
Try some lender affordability calculators or engage a broker.

A gifted deposit of £15k, we can add our savings to have £20k if required. Not sure yet, we are really just looking to find out what sort of price range we could look at. I had tried a few online calculators but I wasn't sure how up to date they were. Thanks.0
