What is the situation if somebody posts one part of a competition, for example a competition is available across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, but somebody posts it purely as a Twitter comp and only shows (TW) in the thread title. Here's an example thread:

Katie L has purely shown it as being a Twitter competition. I don't know how you guys work, but if I didn't have a Twitter account I would click the white cross on a red square, not even bother going into the thread and would move onto the next listing.
I wouldn't really expect it to be combined with a thread which offers multiple ways of entering, especially if the title of the original post isn't edited, because members might end up missing out on the alternative methods of entry.
What do you guys think?

I've seen this kind of comp before posted as 'multiple methods of entry' - I think? Or something like that anyway - I remember because I entered one such preferring to use Twitter rather than FB. But if I see one that is, for instance, Pinterest I almost always bypass it as I just can't be bothered with Pinterest comps. I might not be making sense here - I'm hugely overheated and possibly ready for an early lie-down! But I do know what you mean Roger.0

I think doing just as you have done on the thread you have posted is the best idea.
You could PM KatieL in case she does not see the extra ways to enter so she can edit the thread title.
Posters are only human & only have so much time to get the comps on the board & it is not always possible to spend the time to look at the comp details.

I know what you mean.
I've seen a few in the last couple of months that you only discover there are additional entry options after you've entered.
Likewise some you need to look in the terms and conditions to find out that entry can be made on Twitter or Facebook, but not by both methods.
And each will have been posted separately on the main board.0 -
I've seen some things listed as individual threads before, but... That doesn't prevent us duplicating our entries, and nor does it enable us - as CheCazzo says - to use our preferred entry method (eg if we see the thread for FB entry first).
I think, as LO said, PM'g the OP and leaving a note in the thread is the best course of action.0
