  • Many thanks for all your opinions.

I've taken a look at the Bose, B &W and Sennheiser headphones and am still drawn to the Beats Audio onces!

I will defo say away from the ebay onces, I've had a few issues with fake products in the past and can't really be bothered with having to send the product back if it does turn out to be fake. For £109, it does sound a little too good to be true.

A friend of mine has the Marshall headphones which sound amazing, might be worth a look?

    I use Sennheiser and Bang&Olufsen.

The very mention of Beats makes me a bit angry.

    Hello,

I saw those headphones on Groupon a few days ago for £119.99, but the deal has now expired. Various colours.

    They have Beats earphones today:

    Hope this helps.

I get annoyed when people dismiss something as "too good to be true" without investigating further. I sell a lot on ebay (including brand new and genuine beats headphones) and I like to be competitive on price, so I get annoyed when people selling the same item as me get the sale just because I am selling too cheap!
FYI: I have been selling beats solo for £125 and studio for £160 for months before this offer came along.
On another note, I also sell on Amazon and they now block the sale of beats on market place stating that it is due to too many fakes, although I have told them that I could easily prove that I have the genuine article from a reputable source. I believe that they are using illegal tactics to be the sole seller of this high profit item, hence retaining the high price (my prices would undercut them by about £100).

As previously stated, I sell genuine yet cheap beats on ebay. So rather than avoiding ebay altogether, why not take a chance on a bargain? if it turns out to be fake, simply make a claim and report them. You will get your money back, they will get in trouble and you can also leave them feedback ! this is the only way to stop these fiends.

If you are going to buy beats then avoid ebay. one of the top counterfit products on the entire site. Huge profit margins and low costs make it a dream product for knock offs.

Oh, thanks for letting me know :j

But thats the big issue... its a chance.

it is a pain in the rear to get anything sorted with ebay and the chance of losing £120+ is not very MSE is it?

The purpose of this site is to protect peoples money. by telling people to purchase from ebay and run that risk i would be doing the exact opposite.

Yes amazon is sat on a small monopoly for their website and others do the same... but with the high level of counterfeit beats out there it is a sensible option to take. They know theirs is genuine and it would take time and effort to verify that yours are also genuine. Then they would have to do the same for the guy that undercuts you by 50 pence, and the next guy, then the next one... that would be a full time job for someone and a lot of wasted money.

If people want to risk using ebay for risky products i have no issue with that but i will not allow someone to do so without being aware of the risk first.
