Watch out for the delivery charge:

"• Delivery not included -- a one-off charge of £8 is payable separately for the first six months of deliveries (normally £17.70)"
  • I won a 3 month subscription to Birchbox; which was nice as a freebie but I wouldn't pay £30 for 6 months, they are just tiny samples after all.

Sorry, I don't mean to put a downer on the OPs thread, just thought its important for people to know opinions from previous subscribers.

I brought last years deal on living social and was already a subscriber to Birchbox. I just cancelled my current subscription and used the voucher, it worked fine.
I've brought it again this year but haven't tried it yet.
Could always email birchbox to check if you can use it, that's what I did last year.

Even with the delivery it works out as £6.33 a box, which I think is quite good value.
Also if you google it there's a discount code for 10% off living social which you can use.

Thanks, I found the discount code and saved an extra £3. Couldn't resist signing up in the end. No doubt the bits and pieces I don't want will be handy for extra Christmas presents.

thanks OP I used to get a glossybox delivered every month and loved it but can't afford it anymore.

I used the 10% voucher code and paid by paypal. The total was £27 so it seems I didn't have to pay the delivery charge or will this be taken out separately?

Also anyone know when is the soonest I can cancel, do I have to wait until I receive all 6 before cancelling or can I cancel after the first one and still receive the others

    thanks

Once you put the code into Birchbox you'll have to put in card details to pay the £8 delivery charge.
    Kate.
