Would anyone know how long the company to ask (and be entitled to) any monies back if error was on their part?
Thanks

The Pensions advisory service says http://www.pensionsadvisoryservice.org.uk/common-areas-of-concern/mistakes-and-overpayments

Do you think these rules apply to a Private pension scheme rather than a State pension? Thanks

The guide is useful but I dont think it specifies a maximum period as there is no maximum period. A mistake is a mistake. As the guide says, you are not entitled to profit from a mistake. It doesnt say you can profit from it if happens for longer than x years.Do you think these rules apply to a Private pension scheme rather than a State pension? Thanks
It applies to personal and occupational. Not state.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
