Sky Tv. Strange Letter.

Today I recieved a letter from Sky .Which does not make sense to me and I was wondering if anyone else had recieved one.
You deserve to choose the viewing you want, when you want it,so we have been working hard on new ways to improve what you can enjoy from Sky. Thats why, from 1st September 2007 there'll be a decrease in your monthly sky digital subscription to £21 , including any stand alone premiium channels you may have . That means you'll be recieving a brilliant choice of programes and saving money.

You collection accounts August 2007 £21 September (and monthly thereafter)£21.

As I am on the £18 a month mix , I could not see why if they were decreasing charges I was being charged more from August. So spent half an hour on the phone to Sky. Was told they had no record of my being sent the letter and that charges were in fact going up in Sept. And that my letter must be a misprint. The Girl just fell silent and was of no help at all .So I said should I just ignor it then and she said yes I should.
Just wondered if anyone else recieved one.

maybe they are doing offers for selected people, but i would call them up again and speak to supervisor/manager or someone more senior.

i think there is a law that if you see something priced and they say it was printed in error and tell you that you have to pay the higher price.

i think they are to obliged to charge whatever it says on the advert or info so i would check this out with citizens advice or trading standards. Otherwise it is misleading and is against the law!
