Bankruptcy & IPA

I went bankrupt at the end of May and the only correspondance i have had with the OR is regarding the IPA for my income tax. This has been handed over to the solicitor and i have completed all their paperwork and they have confirmed receipt and want my payslips for the rest of the tax year along with the Tax IPA.

My question is whether i will also get an IPA on my income as i have not heard anything further from the OR. Or if now it has gone to the solicitors they will only want my tax?

Thanks

My IPA was agreed very quickly after my 2nd interview, so unless your circumstances change you may not get one.

Did the examiner accept what was in your SOA? if I recall correctly we packed it out pretty well?
  • egrescrimp, the original interview was about 30-40 mins and we did not actually go through the SOA, the OR said they would look at this offline and let me know, since then i have not had any further interviews with the OR, but when they have asked for bits of paperwork such as statements and signing the Tax element of the IPA.

I have had the letter from CW and also returned this and has email from them to confirm NT has not yet been applied but to let them have my next wage slip.

You did give considerable assistance with the SOA and I have had no questions or conversations around this at all.

It took about a month to hear from CW just to say they had been instructed by OR. I did get a letter about 6 weeks ago from the OR to say that it was being handled by CW. The IPA is only for my Income Tax as it will not be paid via PAYE but to CW.
