In this case there is nothing concrete that says it's "likely" (such as assignment to long project)
It's purely a personal perception of how likely anyone thinks DH can make a success of it.
As a happily married person I guess I'm biased and taking a positive outlook appear to put one at a disadvantage with HMRC.

Thanks for the advice, but the bottom line is I'm happy with our current stance on it.
