Replacement mattress cover

A friend has a mattress with foam on the outside and springs in the middle (sorry, don't know the right name). Due to her son wetting the bed she removed and binned the cover as it wouldn't fit in the washing machine. She is moving home on Friday and needs a mattress cover as the mattress is now falling apart and may collapse while being moved. I've looked online and cannot work out which covers actually surround the whole mattress. Some appear to but I suspect they fit in the same way fitted sheets do.
Does anyone know of a fitted cover which will replace the original. The mattress is either king or superking. Online purchase is not really an option so instore availability is needed. Lots of options. Supermarkets and Argos, M&S, Dunelm.

Without knowing the brand, it's going to be very hard find a cover and the cost would probably by around 50% of the mattress, like most spare parts companies charge a premium for them.
I suggest either buying a new mattress, getting some type of cover made or 2 thickish mattress protectors put on either side of the mattress safety pinned together to stop movement.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0 -
Thanks. I've found this http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/freshnights-anti-allergy-zipped-mattress-protector-110557 but its still not clear if holds the whole mattress or just most of it.
I might suggest a fitted sheet on either side and safety pins.
edit. just read the questions for the above and it does surround the whole mattress.0
