Huh, I need to tell my fianc! to start comping! :-)
I've probably won around £50-60 worth (combined) of prizes in the last 15 months. Entered LOADS of comps on this site and one other, incl. probably about 6-12 entries to nearly all ITV competitions. Been playing the lottery as well (incl. the imho scammers 'health' lottery), scratch cards, few bets on sports here and there.... and nothing major. That's just shows how selective the LUCK is but with my financial situation I see a major win as the only route to get out of debt pile or either have a decent honeymoon after we'll get married next year - I'll keep trying comping for say another 6 months - as it might just not be ME that is the one to win

........Anyway - Congratulations and enjoy this amazing land!! ;-)

ziut3k - My husband wanted to go to the Maldives for our honeymoon 26 years ago but we couldn't afford it so we went to Turkey which was a new destination then, so he's had a long wait. I've comped on and off (mainly off) for a few years and have never won any single item worth more than £100 and gave up on the lottery a long time ago.
We used to live near a man who won holidays, cars, you name it he'd won it but they were always slogan competitions. Don't know if they're very popular these days as I don't see them.

Slightly similar thing happened to me too. Although my luck has been miles better this year than any other I haven't had a 'big' win. But my sister entered a text comp and won an iPhone 5S!
