    Hi

Is OH is paying the rent/mortgage and all household expenses?

    Car tax, maintenance?

    Clothes?

Two of these loans appear to be ending in the next couple of years. What is the amount still owing on them, rather than the amount for which they were first taken out? That will give you a more realsitic idea of your debt.

Really, in even the medium term, you are would be best fessing up to OH as three quarters of your income is going to settle your debts each month. He is asking because he knows something is not right and is more likely to be upset by you not confiding than by your debt. He would much rather it is debt than addiction or a lover and it is not going to be easy sorting this without him knowing.

That is not going to solve the issue however unless you can address the issue of how you got to the situation. What have you bought with this money?

Sometimes the answer proves to be that peple have nothing to show for it, other times one partner has taken out massive loans to fund a joint lifestyle or house renovation project.

Is there anything you can put up on e-bay? You are already looking for better paid employment. if that does not work, can you get additional hours or a part-time job?

Have a look for chevalier's excellent list of survey and mystery shopping sites as well.

There are lots of other things in the DFW portfolio but many of them would be difficult to manage if OH is not party to the situation.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
