Catapulted to fame in 1964 the Rolling Stones rocked the establishment and took the world by storm. Now over 40 years later they are recognised as one of the most enduring acts in rock and roll history. On 20th August 2007, Liberation Entertainment will release the DVD 'Truth And Lies'; a documentary covering the bands meteoritic rise to fame from the formation of the band, right through to the Forty Licks tour in 2002.
After decades of success their contemporaries, fans and critics discuss their music, the drug busts, and rumours of sexual excess, the hysteria and violence at their concerts and also the death of original member, Brian Jones. All of which made them one of the most notorious bands in history and set alarm bells ringing all the way to Westminster.
