Letter from Aministrator re car
hangingbyathread
Received a letter today stating that they have an ongoing responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is properly insured. Have asked for copies of the following documents
Insurance Certificate
MOT Certificate (Car is a 12 plate so not MOT required)
V5
HP/Finance Agreements (There was no finance on car)
Has anyone else been asked to provide these documents? Why do they need them all when they are only ensuring car is insured?

Hi,
The vehicle as an asset belongs to the trustee, and so do the responsibilities with it.
The insurance is dependent upon a valid MOT, and these questions are generic, not specific to you.
The HP question is to find out who owns the vehicle as a car on HP belongs to the HP company until last payment is made.
