what do I do first to sort out debt

Just remember that you are on the right track by starting to think about sorting it.
I was in the same position just a few months back and its actually a great feeling to be paying back what i owe.
I have 3 repayment plans in force at the moment and one is a debt of £1000 and i only pay £12.50 per month as a plan, but if i have money left over each week i send it to them and after 8 months im pretty much sorted and only owe £300 now.
Just don't let it grab hold of you and carry on being positive and you will feel great when you dont have to worry about the door knocking.0 -
Good luck, and don't hesitate to get started. The sooner you start the better it feels. It isn't going to be easy, but will feel amazing once youre all sorted.Total Debt in Feb 2015 - £6,052 | DEBT FREE 26/05/2017Swagbucks £200 Valued Opinions £100Dave Ramsey Baby Step 2 | Mr Money Mustache Addict0

Hi Jules
Do you have any inkling of the sorts of amounts you might owe? Are we talking £hundreds, £thousands or £tens of thousands?
Whatever it is, you will get plenty of support and advice on here.
Good luck
Dennis
