Amazon Prime - confused, can somebody help?

Now, I consider myself a pretty intelligent person but I cannot find the info I need anywhere on the Amazon website!
My brother has Amazon Prime & on Saturday he logged into his account on my device so we could watch a streaming movie together. Later he said "I'll leave myself logged in in case you want to watch it again, you have a few days"
Now, it feels wrong to me that I now have full access to all the free films and stuff on his account but somebody at work said that you can share a Prime account with friends & family ... can somebody please explain whether this is actually allowed?
I have thought of getting Prime myself so am keen to have a look what sort of thing you get for your money on the videos & stuff but I dont want him to get in trouble for having left himself logged in to my device!

All info is on Amazons website but basically you can share free delivery with 4 family members but not Instant video or kindle orders.

Share Your Amazon Prime Delivery Benefits
Free or paid members can share their delivery benefits with up to four additional family members living in the same household. Other Amazon Prime membership benefits such as Prime Instant Video and the Kindle Owners' Lending Library can't be shared.
To manage sharing your Amazon Prime membership:
Go to Manage Prime Membership .
Click Invite a household member.
You can then do the following:
Share your membership by entering the name, relationship, birthday, and e-mail address of the person you'd like to share the membership with, along with your birthday.
Note: The person you invite will need to know the month and day of your birthday to accept the invitation.
Stop sharing your membership with someone by selecting the bullet next to their name and then clicking Remove.
Note: Amazon Student members receiving Amazon Prime benefits as part of a free trial or discounted annual membership won't be able to share their delivery benefits. Amazon Family members receiving Amazon Prime delivery benefits as part of a free trial and customers receiving a free 30-day trial of Amazon Prime benefits with Kindle Fire won't be able to share their benefits. All existing shared household members will continue to receive delivery benefits if the primary member switches to Amazon Prime as offered by one of these programmes. However, the primary member won't be able to add or change shared household members if they move to one of these programmes.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Well, I feel like a mug. My boyfriend has had Prime for years and I had absolutely no idea we could share the postal benefits. Thanks Sarah, this is brilliant!0
