Can you remember if the advice your were given by the insolvency solicitor was unambiguous, i.e."you should go bankrupt". Or whether it was more "you should probably consider bankruptcy unless your situation improves". If it was the latter, was there a possible reasob why you thought your situation could improve, this may now seem foolish but perhaps at the time you weren't certain?0

though just to point out it probably doesent matter if they said to go bankrupt. what matters if if the OP knew they were insolvent. so the question should be were they told they were insolventHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
